OUR STORY
Family-Owned Horse Farm Since 2004
Timber Hills was founded by Jim Wilkerson as an escape from the long workdays and heavy traffic of Atlanta. What began as a personal retreat soon became a place to share his lifelong dream of being a cowboy with his two daughters and six grandchildren.

Jim discovered that stepping away from work to spend time with his best friend, Charlie, brought unexpected benefits. Time at the farm made him more productive, more creative, and healthier overall.

He came to realize that horsemanship offers something hard to explain-you just have to get on a horse and experience it for yourself.

While the whole family enjoys the farm, grandchildren Tyler and Anna developed a special passion for it. To this day, you can still find them riding alongside their Papa every weekend.

ABOUT ANNA MAJNI
PATH certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, and Grandchild #4, Anna, has always seen the farm as her home. As her 3rd grade journal states, "I know Timber Hills horse farm is a gift from God, that I will be thankful for, forever."
After graduating from the University of Michigan with a bachelors degree in Communications, she decided to use that diploma as a tissue and communicate with horses instead. For the next two years she traveled to different horsemen and women, living in barns and working through hurricanes.
She trained with top-level eventers, barrel racers, cutters, and ropers, but ultimately found the greatest fulfillment in what first drew her to horses: the grounding peace they bring.

Happy Horses
11 majestic beasts call Timber Hills their home. With rich forage and a creek that runs through the property, the horses believe they are wild mustangs, until their daily feeding and health check at the barn, or their treat dispenser (humans) come around.
